About Us |
Our goal is to help you find the best place to purchase tickets online.
We search the web looking for websites selling MLB tickets. We
want to help you find sites that are:
-
Reliable
-
Provide great
service
-
Offer the best
prices
You will find a list of sites that sell baseball tickets near the top of
this page. We list different ticket brokers for different teams,
because certain brokers may have better prices for certain teams.
For example, a ticket broker in Chicago will probably have better prices
for Cubs tickets compared to brokers not located in Chicago.
However, this is not always the case, which is why we compare prices
between the different sites.
Good luck in your search for tickets and hopefully we can help you find
a reliable broker that will provide you with good service and great
prices so you can get out and enjoy the game!
Please note -
The Ticket Broker sites we list sell tickets higher than face value. |

Cleveland Indians
Information
|
 |
The city of Cleveland
has one of the oldest baseball traditions in the country. Professional
baseball started in Cleveland in 1869 when the Red Stockings played Forest
City. The city was part of the first professional league called the
National Association in 1971, although that league only lasted one year. |
 |
The city was also
represented in the National League in 1879. The franchise now known as the
Indians began as the Cleveland Blues in 1901 as a member of the American
League. |
 |
They soon became known as the Naps from 1903-1914 due to their star player Napoleon Lajoie,
before he went to Philadelphia. They were also briefly known as the
Spiders and the Broncos before settling on the Indians in 1915. |
 |
In 1947 the Indians were the first American League team to break the color barrier when they hired Larry Doby, the first black man to play in the junior circuit. Over the years the Indians have enjoyed a variety of great players such as Stan Coveleski, Bob Feller, Nap Lajoie, Bob Lemon, Satchel Paige, Gaylord Perry, Frank Robinson, Tris Speaker, and CY Young. The Indians have had an roller coast existence. They won the World Series in 1920 and 1948, but have also gone 40 years without winning the American League Pennant from 1954 to 1995. Recently they have won the American League Central Division title from 1995 to 2001. |

With a 40 and 42
record as of July 7, 2004, the Indians are just under .500. Yet, still
only the Yankees with six and the Rangers with five have more
All-Stars than the Indians. The Tribe has four All-Stars, which makes
the general manager Mark Shapiro extremely proud of his players and
excited to have such a well-represented team at the All-Stars in
Houston on July 13th. The All-Stars from the Tribe include C.C.
Sabathia, Victor Martinez, Ronnie Belliard, and Matt Lawton. Overall
this year the Indians have collected 10 or more hits in the last 19 of
the last 27 games. The Tribe is second in the league in runs scored
with 441, and third in bases on balls with 308.
Indians start their war at the Jacob’s Field located in downtown urban
Cleveland. Because baseball has a special connection with the fans in
Cleveland, Jacob’s Field offers comfortable seating so the game can be
enjoyed to the fullest extent. The seats here have more leg room
because the aisles are wider. Fans will notice that other people do
not obstruct their view of the playing field because of the degree of
elevation given to the seats. Located beyond the dugouts in both the
upper and lower decks is special angled seating. This offers fans an
ability to view the middle of the diamond without a soar neck.
