About Us |
Our goal is to help you find the best place to purchase tickets online.
We search the web looking for websites selling MLB tickets. We
want to help you find sites that are:
-
Reliable
-
Provide great
service
-
Offer the best
prices
You will find a list of sites that sell baseball tickets near the top of
this page. We list different ticket brokers for different teams,
because certain brokers may have better prices for certain teams.
For example, a ticket broker in Chicago will probably have better prices
for Cubs tickets compared to brokers not located in Chicago.
However, this is not always the case, which is why we compare prices
between the different sites.
Good luck in your search for tickets and hopefully we can help you find
a reliable broker that will provide you with good service and great
prices so you can get out and enjoy the game!
Please note -
The Ticket Broker sites we list sell tickets higher than face value. |

White Sox Information
|
 |
The White Sox, who
play in the American League, are one of two teams to claim Chicago, IL
as there home city. The Chicago Cubs, who play in the National League,
also call the city home. |
 |
The White Sox originally played at Southside Park in 1901, before moving to Comiskey
Park in 1910. In 1991, the ballpark went through many renovations that
made for better accommodations for more fans, including more
concession stands. In 2003, the White Sox and US Cellular came
together, and the ballpark was renamed US Cellular Field, and has
begun to go under more renovations. The new renovations are scheduled
to be finished in 2005. |
 |
The franchise has
won their division 4 times in their team’s history, with titles coming
in 1983, 1993, 1994, and 2000. Of those four postseason appearances,
the White Sox have made it to the League Championship Series twice,
not making it to the World Series either time.
|
 |
The White Sox have
made it to the World Series 4 times, all before baseball divided in to
divisions. Appearances of the White Sox in the Fall Classic came in
1906, 1917, 1919 and 1959. The White Sox would become World Champions
by winning the World Series in 1906 and 1917. |
 |
On April 15th, 2004 Jackie Robinson day was observed by 26 teams in Major League Baseball, including the White Sox. Robinson was the player who brought about the biggest change in the world of baseball by breaking down the color barrier.

Five weeks into the 2002 season, the White Sox were 21-13 and were in good position to win the American League – Central Division. But in the next 2 ½ months, the White Sox would fall 10 games below .500 and would miss the playoffs at the end of the season after ending 81-81. Pitcher Mark Buehrle won 19 games for the White Sox, and was one of the few shining stars that year.
After coming close in 2002, the White Sox added elements to their pitching staff that they thought would get them to the next level. Bartolo Colon struggled with a 15-13 record, while Billy Koch saved just 11 games, and having an ERA of 5.77. The bright spot on the pitching staff was a non-roster invitee to Spring Training who managed to make the team. Esteban Loaiza finished the season 21-9 with a 2.90 ERA and finished second in Cy Young voting. The White Sox finished the season 86-76, missing out on the division title and the post season.
The White Sox failed to make the postseason for the 4th straight season in 2004. Injuries to Frank Thomas, Magglio Ordonez, Scott Schoenweis, Cliff Politte, Carl Everett, and Roberto Alomar plagued the team, who struggled to finish above .500. After the season, the team is planning on turning to a more defensive mind set by picking up some new pitchers.

With a
winning record of 42 and 37, it is surprising that only one White Sox
teammate made the 2004 All-Star Team. Esteban Loaiza will be
representing the AL in the All-Stars for the second year in a row, but
some feel his performance this year did not earn him a spot. His
nomination and placement is obviously from a due amount of respect
from his magnificent performance in the 2003 season. Frank Thomas was
in the running, but ended up finishing second, while Konerko did not
win selection either. Konerko commented, “"Even to be considered or
thought of in the whole All-Star process is a good thing," The White
Sox have not been playing up to the r potential this season. Guillen
explains that the team is just not gelling like they are supposed to,
and some people need to step up and play better. When the oldest
living Negro Leaguer, Ted Radcliffe” threw the first pitch on his
102nd birthday, Guillen apologized to fans for the White Sox poor
performance.
U.S. Cellular Field has not always been identified as such. Actually,
The New Comisky Park changed into U.S. Cellular Field in 2003, and is
expected to be finished on opening day 2005. In the new ball park
there will be more amenities for families, such as the FUNdamentals
park that gives day camps to young children. It is a child sized ball
park located in left field. It is open during game time where you
children can stay and work on baseball and softball fundamentals |
